Venezuela's Oil Workers Strike : No consensus between Union and PDVSA- strike continues
Venezuela oil union Fedepetrol and PDVSA did not reach an agreement in the last round of conversations last night. Venezuela oil company PDVSA still holds that they can't meet the salary demands that unions ask for, even do they had agree on it last week Fedepetrol President Carlos Ortega said Wednesday night.
Venezuela's largest oil union Fedepetrol has rejected the latest contract offer from Venezuela oil company PDVSA, union president Carlos Ortega said Wednesday night. Ortega said that a nationwide strike would continue.
Ali Rodriguez Venezuelan Energy Minister speaking late Wednesday evening, said the strike," hasn't yet had a major impact on production". But, analyst said that after few days all contingency plans are not longer sustainable, a "prolonged strike could harm production" said the Minister.
