Works on Khankin electricity station go on
The manger of the electricity department at Dyali, engineer Abed-Elatif Ibrahim Olow said that work continues to construct Khankin station in order to connect Khankin city with the grid originating in Iran.
Engineer Olow expects the work to be completed by the beginning of next month, according to Azzaman newspaper.
Worth to mention that this project was agreed upon last June by Iran and Iraq. The cost of this project is estimated at US$ 47 million. Under the term of the agreement, the Iranian side will provide Dyali province with 100 megabyte of electricity.
