Canon's partnership in this initiative is part of its continuing thrust to support various civic-oriented programs
Canon Middle East, leader in imaging solutions, has announced its support to the “My Fashion My Community” Charity Fashion Show and Auction, a charitable event organized recently by the Rotaract Club Jumeirah at Media One Hotel-Dubai in association with the Red Crescent Society to raise funds for the Senses School for children with special needs. Canon's partnership in this initiative is part of its continuing thrust to support various civic-oriented programs, while sharing its passion for the power of image with UAE designers and the local fashion community.
Several volunteer fashion designers collaborated with models from the UAE to showcase a unique collection of local fashion creations during the show. Proceeds from the fashion show will go to the Senses School to help the resident children of the school.
"Much like fashion, image plays an integral part in the Canon brand as we have been creating leading imaging solutions that have captured unforgettable fashion images both on and off the catwalk. Moreover, Canon's support to the fashion event is part of the company's commitment to the community being a socially responsive business organization. With our strong ties with the fashion community and our eagerness to uphold our corporate social responsibility, we are pleased to be associated with a charitable event of this nature," said Mai Youssef, Corporate Communication Manager, Canon Middle East.
