Comparison of smart women to rare type of Gorilla

Intelligence in a woman as rare as a species of gorilla? Well, at least this gorilla not yet extinct!
Intelligent Women? Rare as Bicephalous Gorillas
Times have changed. We hope! And the bicephalous gorilla has not gone extinct yet.
"The following excerpt by the French sociologist Gustave Le Bon was composed in 1879 and is a testament to how far the perception of women has (mercifully!) advanced:
In the most intelligent races, there are a large number of women whose brains are closer in size to those of gorillas than to the most developed male brains. This inferiority is so obvious that no one can contest it for a moment; only its degree is worth discussion."

Moroccan Evacuees from Libya Banned by Italy
But we thought Italy and the Libyans were friends... Or is it Italy and Gaddafi. Well, it remains disputed whether these were genuine assylum seekers.
"The Italian government has this evening announced that it was denying entry into port of a Moroccan chartered ship carrying 1,770 passengers of Moroccan and Libyan nationality, departed from Misurata which had reportedly tried to push to Malta and later to Sicily. The Maltese government has denied reports that it pushed back the ship."

To motivate or not to motivate
Job motivation: is that an oxymoron?
"In brief, the basic premise of this theory is that people whose jobs require even some analytical thinking cannot be motivated by money."
"This is not a blog post but I wanted to share this with you. It's a video debunking the myths on what really motivates us. It's a relatively old theory that I've encountered many times in the past few years, but this video is to the point and extremely entertaining (who doesn't like things explained to them in cartoons?). It also forced me to think more about my work and helped me set clearer objectives for myself. This is a must watch for anyone whose career is an essential part of their life."
