Lebanese radio claims Syrian FM hospitalized

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem has been hospitalized in Lebanon for urgent medical checks, Radio Liban Libre reported.
The radio station said Muallem was seen walking slowly to the hospital entrance. Syrian ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdelkraim, visited him in the hospital, as did Lebanon’s finance minister, Ali Hassan.
Further information on Muallem’s condition has not yet been released.
