A new wave of car bombs, mainly in Shiite areas of Baghdad, has left 12 dead, the Associated Press reports.
One car bomb in Sadr city killed four people and wounded six, while another killed two and wounded seven.
Later, a car bomb exploded on a commercial street in Jamila, killing three people and wounding 10, according to AP.
A fourth car bomb detonated in eastern Baghdad near a traffic police office, killing three people and injuring seven.
