My 3rd grade daughter can write better than this. Paragraphs are sentences repeated.

I agree with "Anonymous", above.

"The book was written in order to whitewash Bouton’s name and restore the good reputation that he had lost when he was fired from his unit without compensation, following a disagreement with his bosses."

In this context, completely the wrong use of the word "whitewash". A better word would be "clear".

WOOOWW....Who ever wrote this article did not even graduated high school. Where is the editor in chief? I bet EIC did not even go to school... too bad it's an interesting story!
