Ebin George, a 24-year-old Sharjah resident celebrated his 32 world records on January 30, after his achievements were approved by various World Record Authorities.
The event Nothing is Impossible - Grand Finale was inaugurated by Muraleedaran K., Deputy Vice-Consul, Indian Consulate in Dubai, and was followed by an award ceremony and a live concert by George.
Breaking the world record on February 2, 2013, George, a biotechnology graduate from Manipal University in Dubai and a self-taught musician, performed a one-hour instrumental concert at the Sharjah Worship Centre’s (SWC) auditorium titled ‘Nothing is Impossible’.
He is now the holder of the world record for the title ‘Most Number (27) of instruments played consecutively in a one-hour concert,’ by 27 authorities, and the title ‘Most Number (27) of instruments played consecutively in one event’ by five other authorities.
It is not his name being written in the book of records that is important, but his name being in the book of life, said George.
Looking forward, George, who works at Dubai airport, said he wants to pursue his career as an artist and “master the guitar and piano” as his main instruments.
