In england he'd be a peado but foreigners seem to think this is normal! poor little girl

This is just sickening that this little girl was subjected to this man and even more sickening that he would have sex with her! As far as I'm concerned this is just a pervert and they should be charging the parents of this girl as well!!! These people pray to God and then do something like this!! Just sickening!!

I get so upset thinking about how helpless these poor children must feel. It sickens me parents sell off their children without the blink of an eye and that these men abuse them. They are absolutely powerless. No one can protect them. No law, no family. It is evil. No child should ever have to feel, live and die that way.

Anonymous (not verified) Thu, 03/12/2015 - 07:28

Oh my heart bleeds for this helpless child life, lost to such sad, barbaric, disgusting beliefs and behaviours. If there is a god out there that we can all believe in surely this would be considered wrong.

I'm confused at why so many Americans are upset by this. Doesn't everyone have the freedom of religious expression? This is their religions definition of marriage, although an unfortunate accident, it is acceptable to their religion. I'm confused at why some can be free to exercise religious expression to practice hate and malice but others aren't allowed to practice their traditional form of marriage?

Anonymous (not verified) Thu, 03/12/2015 - 00:14

Really? A traditional form of marriage to rape a child? How dare you try to justify barbaric behaviour in the name of tradition? And love..and marriage. There IS a UNIVERSAL code of ethics that we all understand, whether you acknowledge it or not....and believe it or not, that code will give back what is deserved. Shame on you.

There is NO excuse for children to be treated this way anywhere in the world. We cannot excuse this and say, "Well, this is just a backward culture". These "backward cultures" seem to easily grasp the use of smart phones, the internet, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, sophisticated weaponry and many other modern amenities. If they can pick up those concepts very quickly, they can certainly pick up the concept that young girls are not to be used and abused, but instead are to be treated with dignity and respect deserving of all children and young adults.

Why has the website shown the photo of the girl. If this is not the one who died it is even worse. Unethical.

"Why has the website shown the photo of the girl. If this is not the one who died it is even worse. Unethical."

Out of this entire story, that's the part you find unethical. You've got your priorities back to front mate.

This has nothing to do with Islam, fyi in our religion, our prophet did marry Aisyah at a young age but it was to protect her from the evil men or Arab. It was dangerous back then for a young girl to be alone and unprotected. They never slept in the same room until she turned 18. She was never touched or harm, in fact she fell deeply in love with our prophet and was by his side when he passed away. By that time she was already a grown woman and have become a good wife.

Anonymous (not verified) Mon, 06/02/2014 - 17:24

Not true, he married her when she was 6 and slept with her when she turned 9

Anonymous (not verified) Wed, 03/11/2015 - 19:02

Not true, don't make things up for the sake of defending your religion. First of all, in the Quran the age of Aisyah is never mentioned in regards to when Mohammed slept with her for the first time. It was when she first got her period which is well below the age of 18. I'm sick and tired of Muslims making things up and expecting us to believe the million different interpretations of your Quran. The Muslim culture is one of oppression against women; and before you say anything ignorant keep in mind I said CULTURE, which is socially constructed. Its a fact and I've been in the Middle East long enough to know that Muslims there do not treat women or young girls with the respect they deserve.

Anonymous (not verified) Sat, 06/07/2014 - 15:26

A female should marry and have sex when she chooses to, NOT when your society decides that she is "mature enough" to.

Anonymous (not verified) Fri, 06/27/2014 - 15:32

A young woman begins a minstrel cycle at around 12 years old. Many begin sexual activity at that time around the world on their own. She is designed by God to have sex and children but not before then. Surely the world can agree that 12 would be a minimum age to begin marriage! Muhammad married a 6 year old. It is said he waited until she was 9 to start having sex. It all seems sick to those who have children because we view them differently in modern times but I don't have a problem with marriage as long as they are fully developed physically at least.

Anonymous (not verified) Mon, 06/02/2014 - 15:05

Did you really just say MINSTREL? do you even know what minstrel means? the word youre looking for is MENSTRUAL
