Cisco Expands Technical Assistance Center Operations in Jordan

ciscoCisco announced today that as part of its ongoing drive to provide outstanding service and support to channel partners and customers across the Middle East, the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) in Jordan has doubled its headcount to 55 engineers. The growth aligns with Cisco’s objective of delivering consistent, high-quality global technical support 24-hours-a-day.

 

Basem Rousan, Jordan's Minister of Information and Communications Technology visited the centre today and expressed his pleasure to see the level of confidence, investment and commitment Cisco is having in Jordan. “It pleases me to see world technology leaders such as Cisco is reaffirming its decision to have Jordan as a hub for its Technical Assistance Center Customer support. This reflect that’s outstanding level of skill and talent Jordan has to offer and reaffirms the Kingdom’s strategic role in on the regional and International ICT map,” said His Excellency.

 

Launched in 2004, Cisco rolled out  the first Arabic speaking support centre in the Middle East. Cisco TAC engineers are highly qualified engineering professionals.  Available via Web or telephone, TAC engineers offer advanced technical counsel and global customer support across a broad range of advanced technologies in both English and Arabic languages

As the network evolves in response to business demands, Cisco’s TAC helps accelerate business success while controlling costs. With this facility, Cisco furthers its commitment to providing world-class service and support that help customers and partners maximize operational efficiencies,” added Ashraf Arafeh, general manager of Cisco in Jordan.

 

Cisco’s four main TAC centers are located in Sydney (Australia), San Jose (Unied States), Raleigh (United States), and Brussels (Belgium). Cisco has satellite TAC offices around the world, including Beijing (China), Tokyo, (Japan), Seoul (Korea,) Mexico City (Mexico), Rio De Janeiro (Brazil),  Boxborough (United States), Seattle (United States), Richardson (United States).
