Two new contracts to Gulf Helicopters

gulf helicoptersGulf Helicopters, a subsidiary of Gulf International Services Co. (GIS), announced it had signed a deal with Total E & P Libye and has entered into a Helicopter Service Agreement with Al Maha Company for Aviation Transport, a subsidiary of Gulf Helicopters in Libya to use one Bell 412 on sole use for a period of around 4 months starting the 22nd September. This is for their offshore operations in Libya. 

 

The company has also entered into a Helicopter Service Agreement with Talisman Energy (Qatar) Inc. to use one Bell 412 on shared use.  The agreement is to support Talisman Energy’s drilling operations offshore and is for a period of 40 days and is likely to be started from Mid-October 2008. The agreement was signed by the General Manager of Talisman Energy (Qatar) Inc. and Capt. Fred Layton, Acting CEO of Gulf Helicopters Company.

 

Gulf Helicopters boasts a fleet of 26 helicopters including two S92, one AW139, 16 Bell 412s, six Bell 212s and one Bell 206. GHC offers services such as VVIP Transport, Offshore support, Onshore Transport, Seismin support, VFR & IFR, Load lifting, Photo flights and Helicopter Emergency Medical Services.
