Tokyo to become top 2010 travel destination for Middle East holidaymakers

Tokyo is set to be among the top holiday destinations for Middle East travellers in 2010 following the launch of non-stop flights from Abu Dhabi and Dubai this month, with Park Hyatt Tokyo is expected to be the hotel of choice for regional guests looking to experience the famous setting for the award-winning film ‘Lost in Translation’.

“With Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways launching their non-stop flight to Tokyo this month, Hyatt expects to see increased levels of visitors from the Middle East at its award-winning Tokyo properties,” said Thierry Bertin, vice president sales and marketing, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts – South West Asia.

Hyatt has three properties in Tokyo to meet every traveller’s needs: Park Hyatt Tokyo, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, and Hyatt Regency Tokyo.

Park Hyatt Tokyo
The 177-room Park Hyatt Tokyo, which occupies the top 14 floors of the 52-story Shinjuku Park Tower, is located in Shinjuku – Tokyo’s premier nightlife and shopping destination.

Middle East guests can take advantage of the hotel’s spectacular views of Tokyo’s skyline in one of the seven restaurants and lounges the hotel has to offer, including the iconic New York Bar, Tokyo’s most spectacular venue for live music.
