New atmosphere in Algerian national football team
Posted: 15-02-2005 , 11:09 GMT

Following its series of defeats and draws in the qualifying games for the African Cup and the World Cup in Germany, the Algerian national football team and its trainer, Ali Fergani, feels there is new atmosphere in the squad. The coach see that players are more motivated ahead of the next crucial games.

The new atmosphere, reports Liberate Algeria, was already evident last week when Algeria thrashed Burkina Faso 3 – 0 in a friendly which was held last week.

Algeria, currently last in Group 4 of the qualifying games with just 3 points after 5 games, is going to face Rwanda (4 points) next month, March 27 in Oran. There are many hopes that the victory against Burkina Faso will help the Algerians regain their confidence and win this home game, which will help promoting Algeria's chances
