Batelco Donation Supports Hope Institute for Special Education

***Institute Serving the Community for 30 Years***

Batelco has donated BD3000 to Hope Institute for Special Education, as part of the company’s social responsibility to assist charitable establishments in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Institute is marking the completion of 30 years serving the needs of the community.

Batelco Corporate Affairs General Manager Nadia Hussain handed the donation cheque to Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, the President of the Children’s & Mother’s Welfare Society.

Hope Institute, which was established in 1977, caters to more than 150 special needs students. The Institute, under the umbrella of the Children’s & Mother’s Welfare Society, provides education for the students to help them to become a productive part of the community.

“Batelco is delighted to support Hope Institute and wishes the centre well for many more successful years of operation,” said Mrs. Hussain.

“As one of the Kingdom’s leading organisations, Batelco is committed to supporting those less fortunate in the community,” she added.
