Bahrain: Terror suspects arrested

Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al KhalifaBahraini security forces have detained two terror suspects, it was announced late Thursday night. According to Gulf Daily News, Bahrain's Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa conveyed the two detainees were planning terror acts in the kingdom and other Gulf states.

 

Police searched their house and seized two machine guns, a pistol and ammunition, knives, a sword, CDs, tapes, computers, bank statements and exchange companies' documents, Sheikh Rashid disclosed. The two cell members were detained on Sunday.

 

The minister has warned against the dangers of websites promoting terrorism and spreading extremism and violence among youngsters.
