Egypt to ”break foots” of Palestinians trying to sneak into Sinai
Posted: 07-02-2008 , 12:03 GMT

Aboul GheitEgypt has warned Palestinians against trying to break through its resealed Gaza Strip border to defy an Israeli-led blockade. "Whoever breaks the border line will have his foot broken," Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said in comments carried by the state-run Middle East News Agency (MENA) on Thursday.

The Egyptian minister said Egyptian attempts were continuing with Israel and the European Union to re-open the Rafah border crossing "in a legal way", and slammed Hamas for recent fighting with Israel that it called "cartoonish and comical".

According to Reuters, Aboul Gheit said Hamas rockets that were "lost in the sands of Israel" were simply giving the Jewish state a chance to strike at Gaza Strip, killing Palestinians. Aboul Gheit also said that Cairo will never recognize the regime of Hamas on the Gaza Strip. Hamas wants a say in running the Rafah crossing, but Aboul Gheit stressed this "will never happen."

Mr Aboul Gheit is a realist and his words are words of wizdom. But who listens? The Hamas clan have no interest but creating havoc in this area, and their main target is to undermine the democratic regimes in other Arab countries. Wake up Palestinians, and don't listen to emotional slogans that are killing your children and making your aspiration for a homeland an illusion far away.

At least the palestinians are fighting the israelis you idiot. If theyhave no weapons then they have to fight in foolish manner. You stupid egyptians who were once a proud and master race are now kust american and israeli puppets. And lastly its hardly ethical to break someones foot who is trying to get supplies for his family; why else would they want ot get into a corrupt and puppet state.

I think Egypt should not break Palestinians feet, instead actively take part in solving the problem. My advise is; either allow Palestine be part of Israel and Palestinians be allowed to vote in Israel or have Palestinians call independence and all 56 Arab countries should recognize Palestine and lobby for others to do the same.
