Posted: 04-09-2008 , 16:47 GMT

Young Egyptian poet Muhammad Jomah has decided to begin singing.
According to the London daily Elaph, Jomah is getting ready to film a music video clip for a new song composed by his friend Muhammad Rahim. The song is called “Tala Bass” (Just Come On), the first of his new singing career.moh

Jomah has written songs for famous Arab singers like Asala Nasri, Saber Al Ribai, Ruby, Shams, and Ehab Tawfiq. Most of the songs were great hits.

Jomah said that he never planned to sing.  By chance the composer Muhammad Rahim was late for a recording session, and since Rahim was unable to make it Jomah went ahead and sang the words to song. Everyone liked his voice and encouraged him to start singing.

Jomah said that he has always loved singing since he was a child.

Jomah also said that he sings the songs that he writes for music artists, before giving the poems to the singers.

He is looking forward to the new experience and hopes listeners will accept his voice and love his music.
