Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned western powers on Wednesday that they would regret their efforts to stand in the way of Iran acquiring nuclear capabilities. iran najad visits

“Everyone must accept and respect the Iranian nation’s desire to obtain peaceful nuclear technology”, Ahmadinejad stated while at a rally in the city of Khorramabad, according to AFP.

His statements were later broadcast on Iranian television.

“If anyone shows aggression to the Iranian nation’s rights, Iran will wipe the dark stain of regret on their foreheads,” he added.

“If the world accepts Iran’s desire then fine, but if it wants to ignore the rights of the Iranian nation then Iran will know what path to pursue”.

“If we stand strong the enemies will be defeated in the face of the Iranian nation’s will”.

Ahmadinejad also referred to the United States as one of the world's “bullying powers,” apparently responding to accusations by US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Tuesday that that Iran was aiding Iraqi fighters in repelling the US-led invasion by sending Revolutionary Guard soldiers into Iraq.

If Iran continues down this path, Iran will be utterly destroyed. You can justify aggression with the Koran, you can promise pain and harm, but in the end, it is the Iranian people (not just the Islamic racist's in power) who will pay a very dear and painful price. I hope and pray for the Iranian people to wake up...before it is to late. Ahmadinejad is steering Iran to total destruction! Please wake up...wake up!!!!
