Iran IAEAIran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that the crisis facing the US is the result of its aggression to plunder assets of other nations. Addressing a large group of local people in the western city of Hamedan, the Iranian leader said the "world nations can not tolerate the unfair capitalist system any more."

On Iran's nuclear program, the Iranian president said that the Iranian nation believes that all world nations have the right to produce nuclear energy. Meanwhile, an Iranian nuclear official said on Wednesday that Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency will continue cooperation.

"Iran and the IAEA will continue cooperation. As announced earlier, Tehran's policy is based on continuing cooperation with the IAEA within framework of the international body's regulations," said spokesman for the Iranian delegation to negotiations with the IAEA Deputy Chief for Safeguards Olli Heinonen, on Wednesday.

The source said Heinonen's Tehran visit had been within framework of the policy for regular cooperation between Iran and the IAEA. He said, "Iran has kept doors open for talks with the IAEA legal representatives and Tehran will proceed with its cooperation with the Agency as before."
