Mohammad Ali HosseiniIranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said on Sunday that it is unlikely the US dare to enter into another war. Hosseini made the remarks in response to latest statements made by US Defense Secretary Robert Gates.

According to IRNA, the Iranian official said that Iranians have got used to US rhetoric.

"Given to numerous dreadful problems for the US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan along with crippling problems in the US society, it is unlikely that the Americans venture into another perilous situation which would bring deplorable consequences for them," he said. "We hope those who think better and consider the realities in the US would be successful to help correct such policies," Hosseini stated.
