Egypt blames Iranian president for Nasrallah comments
Posted: 30-12-2008 , 09:55 GMT

mubarakWhile the banned Muslim Brotherhood opposition group in Egypt backed the criticism voiced by Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah against the Egyptian regime, a senior official with the ruling National Democratic Party said Nasrallah's comments were not his but that of Tehran.

Muslim Brotherhood's deputy leader Mohammed Habib said in comments published by the pan-Arab daily al-Hayat on Tuesday that the Shiite leader's speech was based on his appreciation for Egypt's historic and pioneer role at the regional level.

On his part, Rifaat al-Saeed, chairman of the Egyptian coalition party was quoted as saying by the Arabic Asharq al-Awsat newspaper that Nasrallah's speech did not come from him but rather from his Iranian patrons. "Egyptians do not need Nasrallah's permission to demonstrate," Saeed noted.

He also voiced his astonishment that Nasrallah's remarks was directed at the Egyptian army and asked: "Does he dare calling on the Syrian or Iranian armies" to confront the war on Gaza.

In a televised address on Sunday, Nasrallah called on Egyptians to take to the streets "in millions" to force the government to open the Rafah crossing to Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Jihad Awdeh of the ruling National Democratic Party slammed Nasrallah's speech, saying he "committed a big mistake." "The person who talked to us is Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad whom Nasrallah works for," Awdeh said, adding that Egyptian armed forces do not give ear to such "nonsense."

Everything points to the collaboration of Egypt with Israel against the Palestinian people. The Egyptian leadership is enraged by the comments made by Nasrallah because because of their reluctance and inability to stop the Israeli genocide of the Palestinains.

if you are a real rabbi explaine to me. How can you teach the evil teachings of Torah to your kids for 365 days a year and still expect them to grow up not to act like savages? In book of Numbers ch.33 50:53 it says destroy their buildings, destroy their image and pluck down their high buildings and DRIVE OUT ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE LAND and dispossess them. What kind of ar GOD would preach savagery and ethnic cleanising? can you explain that?

Dear "rabbi" You are NOT the children of Jacob, you are NOT Semites... Over 93% of today's "jews" are descended from the Khazars, who converted into Judaism. See "Thre Thirteenth Tribe," by Arthur Koestler (JEWish historian)

Mubarak is a stoogeto the US. Egyptians shoulshould wake up and get rid of this impotent leader. The Saudis and Jordanians should also do the same. At least Iran and Hizbollah are not whimps like the rest of the Arabs. Hamas was elected by the Palestinians. Mubarak can't say the same.
