Iraq to get 240 railway container platforms

Polish rolling stock manufacturer Fabryka Wagony Swidnica (FWS) is set to supply some 240 railway container platforms to Iraqi railway operator IRR by the end of June 2005, the company said, according to <i>Biznes</i>.

 

The company said it would shortly provide the first shipment of 50 container platforms.

 

FWS has won this Iraqi contract through its parent company U.S.-based rolling stock producer Greenbrier.
