Iraq: Health programs budgeted

According to <i>Alfourat</i>, Dr. Nidal Ibrahim, a high official in the Iraqi health ministry clarified that the ministry is preparing to organize its first scientific convention that will concentrate on the health of the mother and child. This convention will be held in the next few weeks with the cooperation of the World Health Organization and the woman ministry.

 

Dr. Ibrahim conveyed that the ministry has allocated a large portion of 2005 budget for health programs, especially for first aid and the health of the mother and child.
