Military engineering courses for New Iraq Army

The spokesman of the Ukrainian forces, which are part of the multinational forces in Iraq, said at the city of Kut that his forces had finished training the first class in military engineering. The spokesman added that 680 Iraqi soldiers from four battalions had spent a month in training on how to treat explosives and mines, and expanding their skills in other military spheres.


It should be mentioned that other courses of this type were offered in Baghdad and other provinces for the purpose of training the news Iraqi army in all these categories. These training courses are supervised by foreign military officers who have the needed skills and experience, according to <i>Azzaman</i> newspaper.
