Iraqi-Jordanian free trade zone to open soon

The general manger of the Iraqi-Jordanian free trade zone, Hani Alkayid, affirmed that Karameh free trade area has started attracting Arab and foreign businessmen and investors after completing some projects there. He revealed that the zone will be opened officially this month.


Alkayid added, according to <i>Alkhaleej</i> newspaper, that the whole area was fenced, and now the work concentrates on the customs entrances and the parking lots for trucks. He also said that that the development and speeding up the general services for the commercial and economic sectors will positively contribute to increase the economic growth in Iraq.
