New College for Humanities to be established in Iraq

According to <i>Azzaman</i> newspaper, the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research approved the establishment of a College for Humanities in the Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf district. The new college will open in the current academic year of 2004/2005.

 

A senior source in the ministry said that all students, who were accepted to the new college, met all the requirements and conditions determined by the ministry. The college specializes in three main subjects Law, Sharia'ah and Religion Principles.
