Rehabilitation courses for Iraqis

Engineer Aziz Ibrahim, the manager of recruiting and vocational
training center, has announced the launch of rehabilitation courses at the
popular training center in Althawar city. The courses are in English and
directed to prepare people get inside the labor market.


In an interview with <i>Al-Ahli</i> newspaper, Ibrahim revealed that more than 100 individuals participated in the various course. He noted that the
ministry of labor and social affairs will start a new pilot project to
prepare skilled workers for jobs within the construction sector.

Additionally, Ibrahim indicated that the UNDP had sponsored courses on
how to operate industrial machines, so there will be Iraqi manpower to
be able to produce industrial equipment for the local market.
