Iraq to import 600 new ambulances

According to <i>Al-Ahali</i> newspaper, the Iraqi Ministry of Health decided to send a technical delegation to Canada and Saudi Arabia to sign contracts for importing 600 new ambulances. The new ambulances will service the hospitals and first aid centers in Baghdad and the rest of the districts. The delegation is expected to order 300 Mercedes ambulances from Saudi Arabia and 300 Chevrolet ambulances from Canada.


The delegation consists of representatives of the State Company for Marketing Drugs and Medical Appliances, the First Aid Department, in addition to the different financial and law departments of the health ministry.
