Former senior Northern Ireland policeman to lead Iraq training program
Posted: 09-03-2005 , 16:28 GMT

A former senior Northern Ireland policeman is to head the European Union's training program for Iraqi security forces, it was revealed on Wednesday. Stephen White, 50, will lead a program to train 770 Iraqi police, prosecutors and prison officers.

The former Assistant Chief Constable of Police has been helping rebuild policing in the country for the last two years.

He will head the EU Integrated Rule of Law Mission for Iraq (EUJUST LEX).

According to KUNA, the mission aims at addressing needs in the Iraqi criminal justice system by training high and mid-level officials in senior management and criminal investigation. Costing 10 million euros the initiative is to start this July and last for at least a year.

Such a neat way to control Iraq and its resources -- train and control "high and mid-level officials in senior management and criminal investigation." I understand from the EU's own releases that it will be training judges and policemen. If there is a better way to install a European dictatorship, I can't think what it might be! In 1995, Muammar Khaddafy then refused to participate in the Barcelona Process. He screamed a few days before, "can't you see this is a blatant attempt to gain hegemony over our region." I don't know what happened to his obviously prophetic perspective THEN, but CAN'T YOU SEE THIS IS A BLATANT EUROPEAN ATTEMPT TO GAIN HEGEMONY OVER YOUR REGION??!!
