Water project implemented in Kut

The Iraqi ministry of municipalities and public works announced the implementation of a water project at the cost of 72 million Dinar in the province of AlKut.

 

Engineer Akram Aziz Dawoud, the manger of the water department in the province, told Azzaman newspaper that this project will provide the people with drinking water. Engineer Akram added that the project will be implemented in three years and its production capacity is expected to be 10,000 m3/hr. The engineer confirmed that the ministry will replace the old water pipes and will construct 13 water reservoirs with a capacity of 20 m3/hr.
