Iraq signs contracts for gas transportation

Ahmad Alshama, the deputy of the Iraqi oil minister, said that the interim council of ministers studies the possibility of allocating US$180 million to cover costs of contracts signed with German companies to rehabilitate a gas processing station.


This amount is also is to cover contracts signed with American and Indian oil companies.

 

The official added, according to Alfourat newspaper, that the ministry lately signed US$50 million contracts with Indian and German companies to transport gas from Basra to Alnaseriya and then to Almoseib area (10 km southern Baghdad).
