Iraqi firms get foreign assistance

The USAID and Citigroup announced that that they granted US$ 131 million to Iraqi medium sized establishments in order to help them to meet their financial obligations. According to <i>Alsharqalawast</i> newspaper, a source at Citigroup reveled that it participated with the amount of US$ 92.8 million and the remaining balance was completed by the USAID.


On his part, Nadim Hussein, an Iraqi representative at Citigroup, said that the it was delighted to assist Iraqi companies so that they can be effective in the reconstruction process.
