Projects planned in Alahwar

A spokesman for the Iraqi government has said that Alahwar (Marshland) region is getting the appropriate attention by several ministers which plan to implement projects there.

 

The source added that a number of infrastructure projects are expected to be implemented in Alahwar. They include paving and asphalting major roads, building and repairing schools, improving health services and providing electricity to the citizens.

 

The source expressed his optimism that the situation in that region is going to significantly improve.
