Iraq: Plan to implement 2500 construction project during 2005

According to Alsabaah newspaper, an official source at the Tenders and Projects Department within the American Development Agency for the Reconstruction of Iraq affirmed that this current year the country will witness the implementation of 2500 construction project. Iraq reconstruction project

 

The official revealed that the works is underway in 1800 projects, which created jobs for 130,000 Iraqis. He disclosed that the main projects include repairing the electricity infrastructure in order to meet the needs of the Iraqi citizens.

 

He added that the projects also include the construction of 18 hospitals across Iraq and building 600 schools.
