Railroads department resumes work in Mosul area

The railroads department for the northern area resumed its work after a cessation that lasted more than four months. A source at the department told <i>Azzaman</i> newspaper that with the improvement of security in the area an experimental train trip was conducted in Mosul area.

 

The source disclosed that this step comes after the northern railroad line was attacked several times. The source conveyed that the department has taken the necessary security measures to prevent further attacks.
