New parks to be established in Baghdad

A source at the municipality of Baghdad affirmed that it rehabilitated some parks around the Iraqi capital so families and people can go there in holidays and vacations. The source added that Alzawraa park is the biggest park that was rehabilitated and opened.

 

The source conveyed, according to <i>Azzaman</i> newspaper, that the municipality has been working in two directions: One is to rehabilitate and repair the existing parks and public gardens; The second is to build 11 new parks that will include modern entertainment equipment, especially for children.
