The department of roads and bridges at Misan province is implementing a number of projects, including in rural areas. An authorized source at the department said that the 2005 plan includes the tiling and asphalting many roads in the province and its outskirts.

The source added, according to Alsabah newspaper, that the department has completed works on 480 km of roads at the first stage and there is more than 600 km to be completed at the second stage.
