US$25 million project to equip Iraqi hospitals

The Iraqi health ministry affirmed completion of 30 percent of the project to rehabilitate and equip emergency departments at hospitals in Baghdad and other provinces. In addition, the ministry announced the start of establishing health projects in the southern and northern areas.

 

An official spokesman at the ministry said that it has already working for more than five months on the project to rehabilitate and equip emergency departments in 12 hospitals. He disclosed that the cost for such project reached US$25 million, which was partly funded by the World Bank.
