Iraq: New vehicles to transport passengers

A source at the Iraqi transportation ministry has announced a plan to have new vehicles to transport passengers within the Iraqi capital of Baghdad. The source clarified that a new lane was directed to these vehicles on Baghdad roads. He revealed, according to <i> Alfourat</i> newspaper, that this new method will alleviate traffic jams and it can control the illegal transporting of passengers.

 

In a related issue, the general company for managing transportation has announced new fees for all its internal lines in Baghdad and between the provinces. He disclosed that the new prices would include all public and private lines.
