Assad: Israel doesn't want peace, US-Iraq security pact is dangerous
Posted: 09-11-2008 , 09:29 GMT

bashar assadSyria's president on Sunday said Israel is not genuine in its desire for peace with its Arab neighbors. According to the AP, Bashar Assad stated Israel must prove it wants peace by withdrawing from all occupied Arab territory.

Assad spoke Sunday at the opening session of a meeting of Arab parliamentarians in the Syrian capital Damascus. During his speech he stressed his country's support to the Palestinians' fight to gain their rights, but noted the key for this will be to achieve unity among the Palestinian people.

In his speech, the Syrian leader also attacked a proposed American-Iraqi security deal that would keep American forces in Iraq for three more years. According to him, the American troops contribute to regional instability and should withdraw from Iraq.

Assad told the audience that a recent American raid inside Syria near its border with Iraq is confirmation that the U.S. will use Iraq as a base to attack its neighbors.

He harbours terrorists. He doesn't have much room to say anything. The only reason Israel has the land is because the Arab countries attacked them and LOST.

Want do you do against bullies. They smash your windows, break in your house, kidnap people out of your house, yet the people that are bullies have no house to speak of. I would say they should be arrested. But yet Israel has a house and the Palestine has not a house. Yet time and time again Israel showed restrained form these beasts. Would you not protect your own house from intruders? Anyone would except a hypocrite.

Yet from time and time again, they break in, kidnap, kill, harm, use foul Lang and others say Israel should be burned to the ground. Who is the peacemaker and who is the beast? Who shows restraint and who cannot control themselves. mathew 6) 23. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
