Posted: 14-10-2005 , 14:49 GMT

Jordan's King Abdullah II arrived on Friday in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on the third leg of his Asian tour that took him to Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan. During his several- hour visit, the King extended condolences to Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf over the victims of the earthquake that hit Pakistan on Saturday. It should be mentioned that Jordan had sent a military field hospital and two military airplanes, laden with aid to Pakistan with a view to contribute to helping people in areas that were hit by the earthquake.
