Khaberni Mobile Service Exclusive to Zain Subscribers
Zain, a subsidiary of the Zain group, the leading mobile telecommunications provider in the Middle East and Africa, signed a partnership agreement with Khaberni, the Jordanian web-based newspaper, to provide exclusive up-to-date SMS news to Zain subscribers.
This strategic partnership was signed by Zeyad AL Masri, Zain's Information Services Manager, and Thamer AL Odwan, Khaberni CEO.
"The signing of this partnership comes due to the dramatic increase in news volume and the accelerating sequence of events taking place in the region and globally; hence Zain has committed itself to keeping its customers updated with the latest local and regional news by signing an agreement with Khaberni to launch Khaberni mobile service, which provides trusted and unbiased news". AL Masri stated.
Khaberni is considered a changing force to the way on-line news is presented to the reader, as the website aggregates young professional Jordanian columnists who have no hidden political agenda.
AL Odwan commented on the importance of the agreement to Khaberni as it illustrates clearly that the web-based news provider has been very successful in placing itself among the leading news providers in a very short period.

Khaberni mobile service includes other contents available on Khaberni website such as sports, caricature, technology, global news, and current issues, to enable Zain customers from receiving a varied content either via SMS or MMS by using designated codes.
