Microsoft’s SMB Campaign Offers up to 25 Percent Discount on Productivity Tools
Microsoft licensed software enables SMBs to be more efficient, productive and competitive
As part of Microsoft’s efforts to enable Jordanian Small & Medium Businesses (SMBs) to be more efficient, productive and competitive, the software giant is launching a promotional campaign between May 15th and June 30th offering SMBs discounts of up to 25 percent on products such as Microsoft Office Small Business 2007, Office Pro Plus and Vista Enterprise.
Zeid Shubailat, Country Manager of Microsoft Jordan stated, “SMBs represent more than 90 percent of all Jordanian businesses and constitute the backbone of Jordan’s economy, therefore Microsoft Jordan is responding to their demands by introducing various licensing programs and promos to reduce the cost of software acquisition whilst also working with our local partners to develop the proper software ecosystem.”
The promotional campaign, which is supported by a community of Microsoft partners that acquired the Small Business Specialist designation, provides an opportunity for SMBs to acquire licensed software through the Get Genuine Windows Agreement Program and the SMB promo.
Licensed software affords better protection to SMBs’ critical data against viruses, malware and Trojans, which cause loss of precious information and adversely affects their business. Licensed software also helps SMBs avoid legal liabilities.
Odeh Mahmoud, Microsoft Jordan Small & Medium Business Manager said, “The Office Small Business 2007 is a comprehensive set of productivity tools that will enable businesses to communicate, collaborate, manage and track their customers’ needs. Windows Vista and Office together provide a safer and more secure environment for SMBs critical data.”
Maher Al Khaiyat, Microsoft Jordan Partner Strategy and Programs Manager said, “The Small Business Specialist Community partners acquired the necessary training and certification that will enable them to become the ‘Trusted Advisors’ for the Small and Medium Enterprises, thus allowing businesses to focus on what they do best, which is provide their customers with products and services without having to worry about technology.”
Microsoft is also offering educational institutions, training centers and university students with special discounts of up to 90 percent on the non-commercial software they use.
