Hurricane Katrina: Al Qaeda leader in Iraq sees ”start of US collapse”; Kuwait sends US$500m aid

Al Qaeda group in Iraq, which is led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, on Sunday praised in an Internet statement what it said was the "start of the collapse" of the United States after the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina.
"Congratulations to the Islamic nation, to our sheikh Osama abu Abdullah (Osama bin Laden) and to sheikh Ayman Zawahiri (bin Laden's deputy) for the destruction of America, which is at the forefront of evil. It is the start of its collapse."
The statement was referring to the hurricane which left some 10,000 dead.
In recent days, Islamists website connected between the storm and the "US war against Islam." According to them, Katrina was sent by God to torment the American empire.
Meanwhile, Kuwait is donating $500 million worth of oil products and other humanitarian aid to the United States, KUNA reported on Sunday. "The humanitarian aid is oil products that the devastated (U.S.) states need in these circumstances, plus other humanitarian aid to lessen the devastation these three states have been subjected to," Kuwaiti Energy Minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahd al-Sabah was quoted as saying.

This will never get to the prople. They will be charged the goping rate for gasoline just like always. The oil companies will be the ones to reap the winfall on this donation.

Nonsense!1)This money is truly appreciated by most americans.
2)The benefit will go to the people.
3)It is needed because the task ahead is incredibly expensive.
4)We always can count with our "hate America" group in our midst to "cheer us up".

The truth on Islam is fact that Ishmaels offspring were offered participation in the the religions offered by the one True God called Judiaism and Christianity. The founder Mohammed rejected Gods religion and formed his own false religion called Islam. He was so full of hatred over Gods rejection of Ishmael as Abrahams heir, that he was blinded to the truth and fell for Satans lies. That said, God will prevail and will use Islam to force his people Israel to believe in His only means to salvation for ALL mankind. Jesus Christ. If this were not so and Islam was a true religion of God, then the muslim nations would not have to force Islam on everyone through fear of torture and death.

Al illah (the god) which god I do not know was said to have revealed the Koran to Mohammet. Was there any proof of this. I do not think so. the only religions with believable archaelogical backing is Judaism and Christianity. This false religion is the cause of much of today's world's woes and must be confronted.
More importantly in this falty logic is the fact that numerous countries of Islamic majority were hit by the recent tsunami. Why is God punishing both Islam and Christianity? How quickly the forget or ignore reality.
Get over yourself. How ignorant are your beliefs that the US is on the brink of collapse. Were you blind to see Americans helping other Americans? Why don't you fix what is wrong in your world and then get a life. Remember disasters can happen anywhere. Read a book. Spend time with your children. Be part of the solution rather than the problem. What happend to the wisdom and the beauty of the Arab world? All Americans are not porn stars and devils as you call us. Pray to be delivered from your hatred of your fellow man. As you sow so shall you reap.

We have been falling from greatness since before the 60's. We have lost our morality. Our leaders are all about power at any cost especially , gay marriage and illegal immigration. It seems they and animals have more rights than me. It is political correctness and a currency generated from thin air that will finish us. We have the ACLU which should be labled a terrorist organization. They scare me way more than Zarqawi and his goat. They represented NAMBLA pro bono. Look up NAMBLA okay! Unfortunately we have 75% of the good people being destroyed by 25% in our own country. If the fanatics want to destroy us, all they would have to do is wait for us to do it ourselves.

I don't know if you received my e-mail but the basic jist of it was to point out in scriptural quotation that a loving heavenly Father who is also a holy, just God will not share His glory. As He broke the gods of the enemies of His people, He glorifies Himself through His creation. As a father chastises his children, God the heavenly Father will correct and chastise His children. Christ's bride, the church, prays, loves and ministers to those lost of this country. We seek to snatch them from the very fires of Hell to which they ignorantly go. May He have mercy on our and their souls! We violate His will at our own peril!

I participated in the Liberation of Kuwait during Desert Storm. I didn't care whether or not the people of Kuwait were Muslim, Christian, Jewish, or any other religion for that matter; I came because the Kuwaiti people needed help.
I am here today to thank the good people of Kuwait for their assistance in the Aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Salam a lakem.
You know...one thing I would always say was...people who live as muslims always have a great love for life and caring for others..they we're gentle and patient, only in the past 10 years I've noticed great hatred...what happened?
It is with heartfelt gratitude that your people have offered to contribute aid during this time. Quite frankly, the amount of aid is a surprise-rather than a mere token-a grandiose gesture.Your aid goes a long way to dispel beliefs that Moslems do not care for their fellow men. Thank you again.
As an evangelical Christian, I, like my Muslim friends, believe in the Judgment Day. I also believe that the destruction wrought by Hurricane Katrina may well be a sign of God's displeasure with the USA. But, using the same logic, is it not also true that the damage wrought by last year's Tsunami in predominately Islamic countries is a sign of God's judgment on the Muslims who live there? As a Christian, I submit to God's will for my life, knowing that God is most merciful to sinners who seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
Damn arabs gave up contributing anything to society when they invented the abacus. If it weren't for oil, damn arabs would be screwing camels and eating dirt. Get ready once the oil is gone, because that's about what you all will be doing!

The terrorsits would use the storm as a form of punishment for us and call us infidels and praise there so called god allah. That goes to show you how illiterate the terrorist are using mothernatures force as a sign from allah. what kind of god would promote violence against other humans that is just an excuse for them to use violence. I would like to call them certain words but I'm too Intelligent to stoop to there level so I'll end this now!
