Offices of the MTC Touch cellular phone company were raided on Wednesday by Lebanese security forces after evidenced surfaced of connections between several company employees and the murder of former Lebanese Premier Rafik Hariri.

Several men were escorted from the MTC Touch building by security personnel, though no further details were given regarding their involvement in the case.

According to Reuters, the UN team leading the investigation into the Hariri's murder was not involved in the company raid, though it had been informed of the development.

Representatives of the company, run by the Mobile Telecommunications Company in Kuwait, were not available for comments.

Earlier this month four men were taken into Lebanese custody who had sold cellular phone cards used on the day of Hariri's murder last February. No further details regarding their involvement in the case has yet been revealed.
