Lebanese singer/actress Nicole Saba is getting ready to join Syrian singer Asala and Khaliji (Gulf) singer Hussein Al Jismi for the New Years celebration at the City Stars Hotel in Egypt. She will also join Egyptian singer Muhammad Hamaqi for another celebration at the Concord Hotel in Cairo.nicole

According to the London Elaph, Nicole is scheduled to travel to Turkey after the New Years to finish filming the last scenes from her new movie “Lailat Al Baby Doll” (Baby Doll Night). Nicole will be starring in the new movie with Egyptian actors Noor Al Sharif, Mahmoud Abed Al Aziz and Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman.

Nicole is proud to be called the ‘university singer’, because she is the only singer among Arabic and Egyptian singers who sings for college students in Egypt at their parties. She’s been getting great feedback, where her concerts are competing with Egyptian singers like Tamer Husni and Muhammad Hamaqi, the two singers that are favored by college students.

Saba denied what has been said in some newspapers that she is heading for acting in theaters. She adds that it’s too hard to combine between acting in the cinema and being singer, and at the same time starring in a play. According to her she states that the theater needs long hours where she would have to stay working till after midnight and she would need a lot of free time. At the same time she would love to star in a huge musical performing play.
