Saudi Arabia urges nationals to leave Lebanon
Posted: 01-03-2008 , 21:33 GMT

Saudi king AbdullahThe Saudi embassy in Lebanon on Saturday urged its nationals to leave the country a day after a US warship was deployed off the Lebanese coast.  The embassy sent SMS messages to Saudis living in Lebanon urging them to leave the country as soon as possible, Al Jazeera TV reported. "The Lebanese government has been informed of the measure taken by the Saudi Arabian embassy which has asked its citizens to exercise caution in their movements and to leave the country if possible," a Lebanese source told AFP.

Also on Saturday Al-Arabiya TV Network reported a similar measure taken by the Kuwaiti embassy in Beirut, but later denied it.

A few weeks ago, Riyadh issued an advisory calling on Saudis not to travel to Lebanon because of deteriorating political and security conditions. Kuwait and Bahrain followed with similar calls.

Thanks to Israel for destroying Beirut and bombing the Lebanese into a situation of inner conflict. What was wrong with Lebanon before Israel intruded on their soil....again. The U.S. should cease all aid to Israel and demand that they halt their terrorist attacks on their neighbors. Disproportionate use of violence from the Israelis will never cease until the U.S. forces them to do so. Until then, continued instability in the region.

Hezbollah took two Israeli soldiers, that's how that war started. Hezbollah started it, and Israel finished it. Lebanon has had one crisis after another since I can even remember. Important leaders were being assassinated. The people cant seem to get it together. Its a beautiful country, but the people cannot come together. Everyone needs to except ISRAEL isn't going anywhere. Jews are going to be there so learn to live with it or there will NEVER be peace!
