This is not the first time that a major crisis in Lebanon has affected the students of the popular program ‘Star Academy.’carol

Three years ago when the Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Al Hariri was assassinated the contestants held a memorable episode considered to be a national prime, where Lebanese flags where set on stage.

Last week many of the contestants were surprised to see the Lebanese superstar Carole Samaha as a guest on the show for a second time.

According to the London daily Elaph, Carole sang a patriotic song in a soft, sad voice and asked that Lebanon stay a peaceful place.

The Lebanese singer Diana Haddad was supposed to appear, but the airport was closed and she could not travel to Lebanon.
