A court in Al Jeezah County, Egypt has ordered the manger of Lebanese artist Maya Nasri to be taken into police custody for four days for questioning. This ruling came after the manager was charged with three offenses.maya

Maya’s manager quit working for her two weeks ago for unknown reasons.

According to the Egyptian newspaper “Egypt Today” the court had asked for an investigation into a series of telephone calls between Maya and her manager.

The case began when Maya accused her manager of threatening her life over the telephone.

Maya said that he also sent her threatening messages and even posted photographs of her head on naked bodies on the internet.

The manager admitted to the offenses, and shockingly announced that he and Maya were secretly married after a long affair.
