Posted: 13-10-2008 , 01:07 GMT

Famous Lebanese superstar Carole Samaha held a musical concert for “Eid Al Fiter” (insert definition) on October 2 at “Le Royal” hotel in Amman. carol

Carole performed many of her greatest hits and the audience sang along to her songs and danced to her music.

According to the London daily Elaph, the famous Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alameh also joined Samaha for the “Eid” celebration in Jordan.  This was the first time the two Lebanese superstars performed together.

Carole’s public relations office released a memo to explain why she did not perform at the “MBC” music festival.

Some newspapers reports claimed that Carole was replaced with another singer, because she had asked for too large a payment.

The memo denied these accusations and said it was Carole’s decision not to perform at the festival.
